Kids Advent Activity Calendar

This advent calendar swaps the daily chocolate or small toy for something to do together. You pick 24 activities from 48 cards, write them into the planner, and open one each morning from December 1 to 24.

The cards come in six color-coded groups: Cozy, Crafty, Yummy, Kindness, Outdoors and Playful. The checklist of ideas marks the quick and easy ones, which helps on school nights when there isn't much time. Most of the activities cost little or nothing. Each card has a circle for the day number and a "We did it!" box to tick.

The welcome page shows three ways to set it up: in envelopes, in a jar or on the tree. Round number tags from 1 to 24 go on the envelopes, bags or boxes. Kids color a present on the countdown tree each day until they reach the star on the 24th, and a memories page with 24 boxes records what you did.

In the print dialog, set the scale to Actual size (100%). The cards and number tags hold up better on card stock. You only need the card pages with the activities you picked. Envelopes, bags and jars are not included.
