This kit dresses one classroom board or door from December until the snow melts. Each headline letter gets its own page and stands close to 6 inches tall inside a pale blue edge, which gives you a clear line to cut along. The planner page counts the letters for four headlines, Winter Wonderland of Learning, Hello Winter, Snow Much Fun! and Chill Out & Read, and with the whole alphabet on hand you can spell a headline of your own.
The borders come four strips to a page in five designs: three scallops, a band of snowflakes and a band of mittens and mugs. For the names there are mittens, cocoa mugs, knit hats and snowflake circles, each with a small label to write on, so every student ends up with a piece on the board. Eight plain outlines are there for anyone who would rather color their own.
The middle of the board gets a snowman in a knit hat and scarf, printed across four sheets. Trim the inside edges, tape the sheets from the back and he stands about 16 inches tall. There are no holiday symbols anywhere in the kit, so the board can stay up well into February.
