80s Retro Party Kit

This kit is for a grown-up 80s night: a 40th or 50th for someone who grew up in the eighties, a class reunion or a throwback party with friends. The look is a striped sunset in yellow, orange and pink, with cassette tapes and scattered confetti shapes in teal, pink and yellow. Most of each page is white, which is easier on a home printer.

There are two invitation designs, one cream with a sunset and one plum with a cassette, printed two to a sheet at 7 x 5 in, plus a separate file with each invitation on its own page. For the photo booth there are nine speech bubbles ("Totally Rad", "Gnarly!", "Big Hair Don't Care" and more) and five shaped props, including party glasses, a boom box and a "Dance Floor Legend" plaque. Guests write song requests on the blank mixtape cards, Side A and Side B.

The bingo cards have squares like leg warmers, an air guitar solo and a dance-off, and all eight cards are different. The banner flags spell HAPPY BIRTHDAY or TOTALLY 80S, and extra flags with an 8, a 0, a star and a sun fill in the gaps.

Print at Actual size (100%) and each invitation measures 7 x 5 in. To spell HAPPY BIRTHDAY you need two copies of page 14 and one each of pages 15 and 16. TOTALLY 80S takes two copies each of pages 15 and 16 and one each of pages 14 and 17. Card stock makes the props, tent cards and flags sturdier, and a wooden skewer, straw or dowel taped to the back gives each prop a handle. The bingo set covers 8 players, so print it again for a bigger group.
