Picture Chore Chart Set for Kids

A three-year-old and a ten-year-old need different charts. The little one needs pictures and seven easy jobs; the older one can handle a weekly list with points. This set has a chart for each stage, plus a page of age-by-age chore ideas to help you choose what to ask for.

Every chore on the younger charts has a picture, so children who can't read yet still know what "make your bed" or "feed the pet" means. The same goes for the three routine pages (morning, after school and bedtime), which work as a visual schedule on the fridge.

For the jobs we didn't think of, there are blank charts, a page for making your own cards and 36 mini stickers that fit the blank picture chart. A family chart with a color code handles up to five people, and the reward chart, reward menu and a save/spend/give tracker turn the stars into something.

Print at Actual size (100%). Laminate the charts or slide them into sheet protectors and tick with a dry-erase marker, so one copy lasts for months. Print the mini stickers on full-sheet sticker paper, and the chore cards on card stock if they're going on a pocket chart, magnets or Velcro.
