Save to PinterestThese cards give a family something to talk about at dinner, in the car or at bedtime, and the tips page reminds grown-ups to answer too. There are 144 questions in 12 categories, 12 cards each, and every category has its own color so you can pull the right pile for the moment.
Some categories are light, like This or That, Just Silly and Imagine If. Others go further, with Feelings, Kindness & Thanks and Big Thinkers. Road Trip and Bedtime Chats are written for the car and for the last few minutes before lights out.
A page of game ideas gives six ways to use the cards, among them a question jar, a category roll with two dice and a guessing game where everyone writes an answer on paper and the others work out who wrote it. Twelve blank cards take your own questions, and the Family Answers page is for writing down the answers you want to remember.
In the print dialog, set the scale to Actual size (100%). Card stock makes cards that last, and laminating your favorites helps them survive spilled drinks. If you want printed backs, print the card backs sheet on the reverse side, flipping on the long edge. Gluing the backs on works too. Cut along the dashed lines.
