Gothic Christmas Party Kit

This kit is for a Christmas party in black. The artwork has black lace edging, candlelight, gold moons and moths on black and deep oxblood, with script titles in gold. It covers a grown-up dinner or a Gothmas night with friends from the invitation to the table.

Everything you write on has a cream strip, so the ink shows. That goes for the two invitation designs, the dinner menu with courses to fill in, the potion bar menu for six drinks and the place cards. The food tents already carry names like Midnight Feast, Graveyard Greens and The Cauldron, with two left blank. The bottle labels say Elixir, Potion or Nightcap, and the round wine glass tags read "This glass is spoken for."

"Twelve Dark Days" is a countdown to Christmas Eve. Start on December 13 with card 12 and turn one card each evening. Each card sets a small task, such as mulled wine by candlelight or a ghost story read aloud, and an intro page has a tracker to tick them off.

Print at Actual size (100%) and each invitation measures 7 x 5 in. The black backgrounds use a lot of ink, so consider a copy shop for the welcome sign and menus. Print the place cards, food tents, glass tags and countdown cards on card stock. Each glass tag has a hole. Cut the short slit between the hole and the edge, then slip the tag onto the stem. Write on the cream strips with a fine gold or black pen.
