Gothic Christmas Wooden Ornament

This is a Christmas ornament for people whose tree leans more toward midnight than candy cane. Each design is drawn in black and antique gold and printed on a solid piece of Hinoki wood, 9 mm thick, so it hangs with some weight instead of fluttering like card.

Pick one of six pictures. There's a crescent moon over a row of moon phases, a moth, a black cat against a full moon, a skeleton key tied with a red bow, an ornate mirror and a burning candle. A thin gold frame runs around each one, finished with a sprig of holly at the bottom.

The back is bare wood with a magnet, so once the tree comes down the ornament can stay out on the fridge. Because Hinoki is natural wood, knots and grain show a little differently on every piece.
