Substitute Teacher Binder

A sick day goes easier when the sub can find the answers without calling you. This binder collects them in one place. You fill in the fixed pages once (contacts, bell times, class list, seating, routines, emergency procedures), and they stay true for months.

For each day out, you print fresh planning pages. The day plan has ten time slots with a column for where the materials are, and the lesson detail page walks through one lesson in eight steps. An emergency plan page lists no-prep work by subject for mornings when you wake up sick.

Before going home, the sub fills in a While You Were Out report, so you come back knowing what got done, who helped and who had a hard day. A smaller version prints two to a sheet for short absences.
