A visual schedule shows a child each step of the day as a picture, so they can see what's happening now and what comes next without reading. You put the picture cards in order on a board, and when a step is done the child moves its card to All Done. It was designed for home, preschool and special education use, with autistic kids and kids with ADHD in mind.
The boards grow with the child. The simplest has two spaces, First and Then. The morning, afternoon and bedtime boards take eight steps each, and My Day has twelve, each with a time and a tick box, plus a box for when something is different today. A 5-star token board with 20 stars to cut out, a choice board with an "I want ... please" strip and a page of feelings and calm-down ideas complete the set.
The 100 cards come in five color-coded sets of 20, and 20 blank cards take a drawing or a photo of your own. The pictures are bold and simple, in calm teal with warm orange, with words in a rounded font that young children find easy to read.
