Dot to Dot Book for Kids

The book starts easy and gets harder as your child's counting improves. Level 1 is the easiest: 10 to 20 large dots per picture, with large numbers. By Level 4 a picture has 70 to 100. Each level has eight pictures, so a child can stay at one level until counting feels easy and then move up.

Every page has a bigger colored dot to show where to start, and the numbers are placed so they never sit on a line. Your child counts and connects, works out what the picture is, writes it on the "I found ____" line and then colors it in. The pictures are animals, vehicles, treats and more.

Before the first level, four warm-up shapes (a triangle, a square, a kite and a zigzag) show how it works. After the last one there's a star chart for all 32 pictures, a Dot to Dot Champion certificate and four answer key pages. Keep those for the grown-up, or use one as a hint when your child gets stuck.

Choose Actual size (100%) when printing. Have your child connect the dots in pencil first, then go over the lines with a marker and color with crayons. A page in a sheet protector can be done again and again with a dry-erase marker.
