Preschool Learning Binder

This binder covers what most kindergarten readiness lists ask for, in the order a three- or four-year-old usually learns it. Children trace their own name first, then work through the alphabet, count up to 20, learn eight shapes and eight colors and practice holding scissors.

Each letter page has a capital and a lowercase letter to trace, space to write on their own and a row of letters to find and circle. The number pages combine tracing with ten-frames and counting pictures. Short thinking games break it up: what comes next, which one is different, big and small, matching shadows.

A daily "Good Morning" page asks for the day, the weather and how they feel, and an "I Did It!" chart and a certificate give them something to aim for. Print the whole set once for a binder, or print single pages when a letter needs more practice.

Print at Actual size (100%) on plain printer paper. Pages your child will repeat, such as tracing lines or the alphabet chart, last longer in a clear sheet protector with a dry-erase marker. Use card stock for the certificate.
